Description

My work is all about the study of aesthetics:
Everything that's been labeled as nice, pleasant, and everything that is bad, disgusting.
These aesthetic canons present themselves as absolute truths in a world that, however, we know as absolutely subjective.
My work start from this paradox:
Beautiful and ugly, real and folk blend on the dusting paper giving birth to hybrid entities, sea monsters whose job is to tell the viewer how much these canons he's referring to are, in fact, built for him and, at the same time, make him comprehend that beauty and harmony can be found in multiple sources, even the most unexpected.
