Description
 I am a self-taught photographer who discovered the art of photography at an early age with the atmosphere of the darkroom, the magical red light, the sweet smell of chemicals and the miracle of hanging pictures to dry out in the kitchen. Over the years I developed an increasing interest for melancholic moods with the subtleties of light and shadow. I mostly try to hide "a deeper meaning" in my images, attempting to show how captivating even the most mundane subjects can be when viewed in a unique way. While photography is a significant part of my life today, that hasn't always been the case. Real life sometimes got in the way and there were periods where my photographic endeavors were put on the back burner, sometimes for a number of years. Today, I do as much photography as I have time for, while making my living in psychiatric healthcare. My passion for photography now is concentrated in portraits, landscapes and still lives, where light and mood are the accentuated aspects.
